Open Letter to all Members of ASCD Canadian Education Network (ASCD-CEN) As many of you are aware, ASCD is in the process of “revolutionizing the way it does business.” One consequence is that the ASCD Canadian Education Network (ASCD-CEN) no longer has a place in ASCD. On Tuesday, December
6, 2011, we were informed by Theresa Lewallan and Walter Mackenzie from ASCD Constituency Services that ASCD is no longer willing to support ASCDCEN as a Professional Interest Community and that ASCD-CEN is expected to wind up the network no later than June 31, 2012.

ASCD-CEN will, therefore, cease to function as a Professional Interest Community of ASCD as of January 1, 2012. At that time the website will be removed and the financial assets of the network will be dispersed.

We would like to thank you - the members of the affiliates and connected communities - for supporting ASCD-CEN. We sincerely appreciate the hard work of your representatives on the ASCD-CEN Leadership Council and their commitment to opening up the professional dialogue across Canada and enhancing professional learning opportunities for all of our members.
